Defend the beginnings
where everything began
The company’s roots go back three generations.
It all began in Tabriz, Iran, which is considered the cradle of the carpet trade,
where the grandfather started selling hand-knotted carpets.
This is where the story of the Yagoubi family as entrepreneurs began
and continues to shape them as a family of traders to this day.
Hamburg - GATE TO THE WORLD
The story continues in Hamburg.
For us it was not just the gateway to the world, but the path to the future.
In the 70s, the senior brought the business to Hamburg’s Speicherstadt.
At the end of the 90s, Aydin Yagoubi joined his father’s business
and took over the company in 2005.
He quickly felt the need to trade more than just carpets.
It was time to forge your own path and from here, your own
to write a success story. That was the birth of My Flair.
The founding of myflair
This is how the idea of founding My Flair came about –
a company that now operates worldwide,
with partners around the world.
Our product range extends from hand-knotted carpets to
towards creative interpretations of
Santa Claus figures,
which we redesign every year.
Today we have more than
10,000 products always in stock.
